Sacrament of Baptism

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.    - Matthew 28: 19-20

To receive the Holy Sacrament of Baptism you need to:

• Stop by the parish office for the registration form and return it with all the required documentation in order for us to reserve a date for you. 
• Parents need to bring IDs and child's birth certificate. 
• All documents have to be originals - No copies will be accepted.   
• You may have one or two Godparents (Sponsors). If you have two Godparents they must be one male and one female.
• Baptisms are held every first Saturday of the month in Spanish and every third Saturday of the month in English. 
• A completed packet must be turned in the Friday before the Baptism Instruction Class.
• Baptism Classes are held on Wednesdays in both English and Spanish at 7 pm before the first Saturday of the month.

Godparent Requirements 

• If married, you need to be married by the Catholic Church, must bring in Marriage Certificate and Confirmation Certificates.
• If not married, Sponsor must be 16 years of age or older and must have the Sacrament of Confirmation. Must be absolutely single and not living with someone or if married civilly only, couple is disqualified from serving as Sponsors. Must bring in Original or updated Confirmation Certificate and ID.
• Sponsors must fulfill all of the requirements of Canons 872-874
